Two-sided dry erase mat is used so students build a conceptual understanding of decimals. The mat allows the student to make the relationship of decimals to fractions and also to see the quantity of the hundredths and tenths as related to the whole. The place value mat can be added on to allow the student to build a full understanding of our base-ten numeration system.
We recommend this mat for students in grade 4.
